Abstract :
A procedure for designing optimum gain pyramidal horns has been developed. It offers exact dimensions with a simple and efficient numerical method, compared to a previous design method using geometrical approximations and a trial-and-error process. The technique has been validated both analytically and experimentally, and should prove useful for microwave antenna designers.<>
