Abstract :
Meteor radar measurements performed in Kazan, Russia, in early April 1992, and forward scatter measurements on the Moscow-to-Kazan meteor burst link performed in May 1992, are presented. These measurements are used to demonstrate the prediction accuracy possible with three meteor burst computer models: a Monte Carlo model and two volume integration models. The Monte Carlo method predicted the backscatter and forward scatter more accurately than the other models
