Abstract :
Our research focused on the Characteristics of HPAM degradation, using 11 hydrolyzed polyacrylamide degrading bacteria strains that were gained from Daqing field. In this study, we demonstrated that the degradation capability of the mixed strains was stronger than each single one. In addition, Infrared spectrum analysis and Gas Chromatography analysis on HPAM degradation products showed that, parts of molecule groups were changed and side chains were degraded to low molecular weight compounds. The retention time of the two compounds Isobutyl propionate (C7H13O2) and dimethyl-octan (C8H17O) was respectively 2.115min and 2.94min. Finally, we determined that the optimal pH value, temperature and HPAM concentration of degradation were 7.5, 40°C and 800 mg/L, respectively.
