Abstract
As the Army developers used requirements, existing equipment capability profiles, ongoing R&D programs, and policy as parameters, an approach to securing the tactical network emerged. The author conveys that approach as affected by the above-stated parameters. A possible TEED (tactical end-to-end encryption device) approach is described and an attempt is made to determine what security attributes the box might have
