Abstract :
A registration algorithm for multiradar is presented in this paper. It has the following attractive properties. (1) It can estimate the bias errors ot 2D and 3D radar. (2) It can run in real-time. (3) It needn´t put the initial value: (4) It is less sensitive to measurement noise; (5) It has no constraint of the distance between sensors; The process is: first, the reference radar is selected with assumed zero biases. Then by using the measurement differences, the relative biases between the second radars and the main radar can be estimated. Finally, the results are feed back to align the second radars on-line. To evaluate the performance ot this algorithm, a computer simulation is made based on simulated data and real-life radar data. The results show that the algorithm has very good performance and can be used in practical multiradar systems.
