            Abstract : 
For the problem of high harmonics amplification existences in the reactive power compensation with capacitor at presently, a research on simulation of reactive power compensation is carried out with MATLAB simulation software, the diversification of harmonics and reactive current are detected, and a detailed FFT analysis of the simulation result is presented.
