Abstract :
A technique to measure three-dimensional shape of the human foot using a conventional digital still camera is proposed. Due to the employment of the digital still camera accurate three-dimensional data of the foot surface can be obtained even by a low cost system. Furthermore, the global surface including the rear and the bottom surface of the human foot can be measured easily using Rear-view Mirror. The technique was applied to measure the three-dimensional shape of the human foot and the results was satisfactory with enough accuracy.
