Abstract :
This study presents work carried out to design and test a system able to reconstruct non-invasively heart-surface potential maps. The system measures thorax surface potentials and computes epicardial potentials based on the bilinear relationship between the two potential fields. The reciprocal transfer relationship results as a consequence of the Helmholtz theorem. As an ancillary tool, the electrical impedance tomography can provide the resistivity map of the thorax
