Abstract
The multipath estimation delay locked loop was researched and improved through the limited points estimation method in the paper. In this paper, the structure chart of the PN code tracking loop was introduced, and the mathematics model of the signal tracking system in multipath environment was also presented. When only one multipath signal was considered, its influence to the loop discriminative character was obtained. The multipath estimation delay locked loop was introduced in this paper. In order to keep the loop stabilization zero point invariable, we introduced the zero-point fixed multipath estimation delay locked Ioop (ZFMEDLL). Further more, the stabilization phase error performance, noise performance and realization complexity of ZFMEDLL compared to conventional DLL, narrow-related DLL and MEDLL were presented. The simulation result showed that the ZFMEDLL had a great improvement on the capability of multipath elimination compared to MEDLL.
