Abstract
In this paper we study the influence of magnetic field, used for basic physiotherapy procedures, on brain electrical activity by analyzing the EEG signal. The recordings are performed in three conditions (before, during and after magnetotherapy) from electrodes placed in the scalp in the occipital region. For magnetotherapy procedure was used typical equipment with cylindrical coil of 60 cm diameter. We record EEG from 13 healthy volunteers for 3 types of sinusoidal pulses. The frequency analysis was performed for all recorded signals and was evaluating the power spectral density (PSD) for delta (0.5 to 4 Hz) and alpha (8 to 13 Hz) waves.
