Abstract
Many persons are injured or killed in the disaster scene. Paper triage tags have been widely used in the disaster scene. The most serious problem of the paper triage tag is not to show the current priority. To save casualties´ lives, this paper proposes an electronic triage system which consists of an electronic triage tag and an electronic triage server. The electronic triage tag always monitors vital signs of the casualty and transmits them to the electronic triage server. Experimental results show that the proposed electronic triage system can save more lives than the paper triage tag.
