Abstract :
This paper presents a spectral-domain formulation of two-dimensional electromagnetic scattering from a cylinder located near lamellar grating. The formulation is based on the pseudo-periodic Fourier transform that converts an arbitrary function into pseudo-periodic one. Therefore, the scattering problem from imperfectly periodic structure becomes possible to be considered by the conventional grating theory.
