Paperless in the electronic era: millennium dream and reality

In this third millennium, the world is undergoing a revolution where technologies are being introduced almost daily. Until now, paperless has been a long dream of every organization and individual, which never became a reality. We unveil all available technologies covering the communication, storage device, and retrieval methodologies toward paperless activities. We view this from the perspective of the provider and end user.
