Abstract
This paper presents a new method for color image watermarking based on chaos theory. For reasons of simplicity, the watermark is embedded in the spatial domain into the blue channel of RGB color space in order to increase invisibility of the watermarks. Watermark detection is performed without using the original image, by computing the statistical correlation between the watermarked image and the original watermark. Experimental results show a good performance of the proposed scheme to common watermarking attacks and geometric attacks with watermarked images having a PSNR of over 50dB.
