Abstract :
A new implementation for simplified second generation current controlled conveyor (CCCII-) is presented. The proposed circuit is very simple, it uses only two NPN transistors for signal processing, and CMOS transistors for the biasing circuit. Its electrical characteristics, voltage and current transfer, and parasitic impedance, have been evaluated. It can convey current signals whose amplitude is greater than the biasing current. With a bias current of 100¿A, and supplied with ±1.5V, the SPICE simulation results show that the circuit exhibits very large 3db bandwidths, is equal to FT/n (where FT is the transition frequency of the NPN transistor and n being located between 1 and 2 for this structure), with very low power dissipation.
