Abstract :
During research of how to apply business process reengineering (BPR) to Chinese enterprises, the authors observe that most of today´s discussions and case studies are focused on corporations that have a stable organization structure and professional administration is important in daily management. This brought the question of how to reengineer a young enterprise that its administration system is not fully established. The authors think that BPR may play different roles in different stages of the corporate life cycle
