  • Abstract
    Time-frequency transforms, including wavelet and wavelet packet transforms, have been used in extensively in signal processing and particularly in transient signal analysis. A novel application of wavelet packet transform is proposed to perform automatic modulation classification of radio signals. Simulation results show that the performance of the proposed wavelet packet based modulation classifier is comparable with other existing signal classifiers
