Abstract :
In this paper, we analyze SH waves propagating in the layered structure consisting of a functionally graded piezoelectric (PE) layer and a piezomagnetic (PM) half-space, where the surface of the PE layer is electrically and magnetically open. The solution of the coupled fields and the dispersion relation are derived. The numerical results are given to show the effect of the gradient coefficient and thickness of a PE layer on the SH waves propagation.
