Abstract :
The electrohydrodynamic instabilities of plane Poiseuille flow when subjected to an arbitrary unipolar injection of charge has been studied. The electric field is applied orthogonal to the direction of the forced flow. Particular attention has been given to the role of the injection level and the ratio of the hydrodynamic to the ionic mobility
