Abstract
The effect of Cu modification on dielectric properties of Z-type planar hexagonal ferrites sintered at relatively low temperatures with compositions of Ba3Co2(1-x-y)Cu2xZn2yFe 24-δO41 was-investigated. Experimental results show that dielectric constant and loss tgδ obviously degrade, dielectric relaxation peak shifts to high frequency region and resonance peaks appear in hyper frequencies. Progressive studies affirm that the improvement of dielectric and resistivity properties mainly results from the decrease of the number of Fe2+ ions
