  • Abstract
Focusing on the simple supported beam in Wuhan railway station in passenger special line from Wuhan to Guangzhou, natural frequency of bridge and its vibration acceleration at mid-span under different train speed are tested in the paper, and the frequency characteristics are analyzed based on test data. The analysis shows that: (1) the natural frequency of the bridge is 7.2Hz; (2) bridge vertical vibration is larger than the vibration along horizontal transverse, and vibration along horizontal transverse can not be ignored; (3) bridge vibration acceleration increased with the increasing of train speed; (4) bridge vibration frequency is mainly in the range from 20Hz to 80Hz, and concentrated at the frequency value of bridge natural frequency. Lastly, the subjects needed further research is listed.
