            Abstract :
The authors have successfully used a relatively inexpensive diode laser system for zona pellucida drilling. In this paper, the authors analyze this drilling process employing the solution of Green´s function for a radial governing equation. This process, which is highly dependent upon the temperature of the culture medium in which the zygotes are placed, is useful for in vitro fertilization applications in particular, and for laser applications in cellular surgery in general
