Abstract :
Horizontal platform system (HPS) is a precise mechanical system with chaos behavior and extensively applied in offshore and earthquake engineering. However, its regulation is a difficult and time-consuming work. To reduce the cost and time when studying the mechanical HPS, an electronic HPS is proposed in this paper. Electronic components are used to construct the corresponding electronic HPS. Both numerical and experimental simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed HPS electronic emulator.
