Abstract :
Printed reflectarrays are proposed as a versatile solution for multibeam applications. The design of architecturally complex feed networks is avoided, since the prescribed beam features are simply obtained by an appropriate selection of radiating elements. A phase-only synthesis based on the iterative projection method is applied to impose the correct phase distribution on the array elements. Numerical results validating the approach are presented for a 17×17 reflectarray working at 10 GHz.
