Abstract :
The problem of perfect and asymptotic tracking of a reference trajectory generated by a neutrally stable exosystem is addressed for nonlinear systems. The main goal of the paper is on one hand to develop a meaningful geometric framework where the two problems and the respective solutions can be jointly presented and, on the other hand, to investigate a possible combination of the control laws yielded by the two approaches
