Abstract
The device is a complete, 625 line, World System Teletext (WST) decoder on a single chip, requiring only a handful of external passive components, and one or two external memory devices, which can be chosen from a wide range, depending on the desired system storage capability. Capable of working from a composite video signal ranging in voltage from less than one volt, to greater than three volts in amplitude, the device will process the incoming teletext packets according to the register settings, organise the storage of the required packets in the external memory, and when required, display the stored information via the high current RGB outputs.<>
