  • Abstract
Wenchuan earthquake destroyed a significant number of architectural construction which should take appropriate reinforcement technologies according to its damage characteristic. This paper summarize various reinforcement technology used in the stricken structure, described the common used reinforcement technology and technical measure in details, made analysis of reinforcement technology in aspects of construction technology, reliability, economy and social benefits, and finally compare their advantages and disadvantages. This paper forward appropriate structural repair and reinforcement technology based on engineering practice for future earthquake damage use.
