Abstract :
An accurate electric field strength standard for the frequency range from 30 MHz to 1 GHz has been developed in a full anechoic chamber with one sigma uncertainty less than ±1.9%. Reflected waves from the ceiling, floor, and walls of the chamber at frequencies at 30 MHz to 200 MHz have been estimated experimentally, and the error due to these waves has been compensated in the standard and the calibration process. With the compensation technique, the total error is less than ±2.8 dB (±3.2%)
