Abstract :
A method for estimating the resistivity of a short rod-shaped sample conductor is investigated. The resistivity is estimated by using both the measured value of the difference in complex impedance of a solenoid coil with and without the sample conductor inside it (SRPM method) and the same value calculated by the finite-element method. The discrepancy between the values of resistivity estimated by this method and those measured by the DC four-probe method was less than 3% when the ratio between the lengths of the sample conductor and the solenoid coil was greater than 1, and less than 7.3% when it was less than 1
