Abstract :
The creation of a test program using the VEE-Test software development tool is described. The test sequence is modeled with VEE-Test. The model is a series of visual objects of icons connected together to show the flow of the test. To make the model actually run the physical test, I/O drivers are added to the model. These instrument control drivers are included in the software. When the user runs the program, it is the flow chart picture that actually executes; there is no code generated in a traditional programming language. The VEE-Test employs a user-friendly interface which includes prompting for manual device-under-test (DUT) alignment
