Abstract :
This document+ presents several methods of potentiometric ion-selective sensors modeling for simulation of ion-sensor systems in environmental water measurements. Hardware-software co-design of systems like these requires models sufficiently simple and accurate for on-line simulation of a chemo-electrical measuring circuit which operates on the base of calibration-measurement or data-fusion methods. The proposed sensor models have been characterized by means of lab measurements and a complexity-accuracy trade-off has been discussed. The most accurate and yet moderately complex models are recommended for further application in the sensor-system design in one of European projects.
