Abstract :
Multimedia data security is becoming important with the continuous increase of digital communications on Internet. The encryption algorithms developed to secure text data are not suitable for multimedia application because of the large data size. This paper proposes a novel video fogging hiding algorithm based on fog theory. Firstly, the original video is divided into frame sequences, and every frame is processed as the following steps. Secondly, the frame is segmented into three regions, and the segmentation is filtered by Butter worth low-pass filter to get thin fog veil. Then the thin fog veil and the original frame are fused together to get thin fogged frame. Furthermore, heavy fog veil is selected and added to the thin fogged frame. Finally the fogged video can be got by some related process. The original video can be restored by using inverse operation on fogged video. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can hide the sensitive target in video effectively and improve the security of it.
