Abstract :
Changjitu region is one of important regions of border development open areas of China and new economic growth pole of Northeast in future. Transport network determines the degree of development of the regional space links. According to the status quo of high-grade highway construction of Changjitu region, the paper chooses accessibility rate, looping index, accessibility index, stretching index, converging index to evaluate the degree of development of high-grade highway network as a basis for shortest path matrix of 15 cities in highway network of Changjitu region. The results show that: high-grade highway construction lagging of Changjitu region, Inhibit the link between hinterland and the frontier; it is better that stretching degree of highway network, traffic center rank low; highway network develops low and uniform and hasn´t yet formed loop network, it is low rate of important border cities and towns access to highway network.
