Abstract :
Readers produced so far by Frosch Electronics were intended for RFID tags conforming to the FDX protocol. We present schematics achieving the addition of the HDX protocol, turning the readers into multifunctional ones. We discuss the issues of transient effects and equality of bit amplification, that have influence on the reliability of HDX data decoding. Finally we present some simulation tools that aid in the process of reader design, tuning and testing.
