Abstract :
In this paper a new method is proposed. A high side-mode suppression ratio fiber bragg grating using ordinary system can be obtained by this method. First, let hydrogen loaded optical fiber pass the laser beam, and hold seconds, we call this pre-exposure. Second use this kind of fiber made Fiber Bragg Grating(FBG) in the original optical path. We can find that pre-exposure fiber can get FBG that has higher side-mode suppression ratio and higher performance.
