Abstract :
A bandpass filter in terahertz wave region based on metamaterials is proposed. By using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy system, we examined the transmittance spectra for the terahertz wave filter. The experimental results show that terahertz wave filter with a narrow transmission bandwidth centered at 2.02THz, transmittance peak of 0.56 and very sharp edges can be obtained. The measurement results closely correspond to the simulated predictions is observed.
