Abstract :
The Guangfu dwellings house was a typical and basic building mode in Lingnan traditional dwellings houses, which existed widely in Lingnan various dwellings. Commonly in summer its indoor thermal environment was not very good because the indoor air was highly darkishily and almost no wind. In order to know the indoor comfort became better or not in days when the air became dryer, this paper measured the physical environment of Guangfu dwellings such as temperature, humidity, wind speed and thermal comfort under the climate conditions. The results showed that every index of the indoor thermal environment was good, temperature changed slightly; the humidity was low and wind velocity was still weak because the houses were few windows, so the dooryard played an important role in air exchanging; as to the PMV value, people could achieve individual comfort sensation with on or off clothing.
