Abstract :
Global awareness of environmental impacts is undoubtedly higher than ever before, and justifiably so. The recognition of these impacts as having far reaching social, political and economic effect is rising. Customers, society and governments are placing ever increasing demands on industry to implement environmental management systems that demonstrate a commitment to quality. Industry must fully recognize that a critical link between environmental quality and sustained economic growth exists. Industry must develop innovative sustainable environmental technology based on solid platforms using a systems management approach to meet these demands
