Abstract :
Investigation results of fast helical magneto-cumulative generators (MCG), which make it possible to create fast- rising high-voltage pulses on the input of high-impedance load, when used with electric-exploded current opening switches (EEOS). MCG stored energy is ~1 kJ; voltage amplitude is up to 200 kV. Such facilities are used for high-power vacuum diodes (VD) supply.
