Abstract :
This paper presents a full scheme of azimuth follow-up System utilized in a certain model of radar spy. By analyzing the requirements for the performance indexes of the follow up system, with a STK465 thick film integrated circuit as the key unit of the power amplifier, a Heidenhain ROD250 Incremental Optical-electrical Encoder for position sensor and a LPC2148 as microcontroller, a digital high accuracy servo system is made. Besides, the methods for measuring the transfer functions of all loops and the design of compound controller are discussed and means of adjustment are also described. The practical operation shows that the design proves to be a success and well meet the design demand.
