Abstract :
In this paper, a class of nonlinear uncertain systems with an up-triangular structure is considered and a design method is proposed for robust stabilization via state feedback. The up-triangular structure has been considered in the literature of forwarding design. But our method has a unique feature, i.e., we allow uncertain parameters (of large size) to be present in the system. Also, our design method is conceptually different from those available in the literature. When specialized to linear systems, we recover an important result of Wei (1990) on quadratic stabilization
