Abstract
The authors develop algebraic expressions for the impedance of half-wavelength center-fed rectangular microstrip antennas which can be readily used by a microstrip antenna designer practically without any background in sophisticated mathematical techniques. The computation time required for this purpose is negligible. These closed-form expressions could be useful in the computer-aided design of microstrip antennas and arrays.<>
