Abstract
ISAR simulation of complex targets based on electromagnetic scattering field is significant to targets´ stealth design, ISAR image interpretation and radar target recognition. In this paper, the high frequency approximation methods are applied to calculate the scattering field of complex targets, the theory of ISAR imaging based on electromagnetic scattering field is researched, and the principles for simulating parameters setting and imaging algorithms choosing are given. Based on these, the whole flowchart is proposed to simulate ISAR image based on electromagnetic scattering field, the validity of which is verified by the ISAR imaging experiments of complex targets.
