Abstract
Because of excellent ability to detect weak signals, Duffing chaotic system has caused wide research and public concern. At present, it is a regular practice to drive Duffing system by continuous function, but those sine functions will be interrupted and the state of change will be observed in this paper. The simulation results show that the duty ratio of intermittent sine driving function is a very important parameter that will influence the state of system. With decrease of the duty ratio, the state of system changed from chaos, bifurcate to homoclinic obit. For systems of different a, transition time varies inversely with a driven by intermittent sine function.
