            Abstract : 
Flip-chip capable 1.55 μm BH DFB lasers with two types of low-cost integrated spot size converter have been realized. The devices exhibit with large alignment tolerances for optical coupling, low feedback sensitivity, high output power, and a good side mode suppression ratio.
