Abstract :
SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system was widely used in the long-distance pipelines and city´s gas system. Real-time transmission of long-range, medium and low speed, low-volume data was achieved through SCADA system. This paper introduced structure and function of DNP3.0. According to the gas system in Lanzhou, it did researches on the DNP3 protocol application in SCADA system. A practical and reliable communication protocol was chooseed for historical data backfill and events restoration. And communication protocol testing was also realized in this paper.
