Abstract :
A retrodirective antenna array system is a kind of smart antenna system which can send an incident signal back to the direction of its originating source. This paper describes a novel arithmetic which can easily get the conjugated phase by using direct conversion based on DSP. With this method, superheterodyne receiver is not required any more, RF devices and components are reduced, and the cost of the retrodirective system is also cut down, so this kind of system can be easily achieved. Moreover, the sampling condition can be easily satisfied and no delay unit is used. The Matlab simulation results show the effective of the new arithmetic.
