  • Abstract
In this paper, based on the three-dimensional finite element model of surface grinding, the finite element analysis was employed to analyze the influence of grinding parameters on grinding force during the machining of SiCp/Al composites using diamond grinding wheel. The results indicate that model can reflect tendency of grinding force. Simulated results are consistent with experimental results. The results will provide a theoretical guidance to optimize for cutting process.
