Abstract
It is desirable in modern radar applications for a large array system to form a pattern with a deep null in a specified direction so as to control the influence of the jamming sources. The design of such antennas is studied, using an approach based on a generalized Taylor pattern. The Taylor pattern is modified at certain points to create a pattern with a deep null.<>
