Abstract :
A design method for a linear array with a low sidelobe pattern is proposed. The method is based on the weighting function, which is analogous to the window function in the theory of digital signal processing. It is shown that the excitation current is expressible in a simple form. The current distribution is dependent on the parameters. The sidelobe level is controlled by these parameters.<>
